The atmosphere of the hotel could not be more welcoming - following the tone set by the… middle of the village. We couldn’t fault the stay, everything including the customer... and breakfast room during winter. Super friendly staff that was treating us like part of the family. Other than the convenience of getting up to the top of Mt Titlis quickly, it feels like being stranded or imprisoned here. The view is breathtaking. It’s high priced yes but with that view… Pfäffikon recommended this Restaurant, so we went there.

Minuses: very crowded at weekends. Hotel Central is located next to the Engelberg Main Train Station with connections to Lucerne, Dallenwil or Stans. The staff were friendly.

We were very pleased to be upgraded to a large corner room with balcony with modern decor. The food (Skiers dinners) was a great ending of each day. There is a ski room to store skis and put the boots… Engelberg station. The price was good and the views in every direction we very nice.

Parking for the car was also no problem.
